An Eastern Oregon University professor and a student employee have filed two multi-million dollar lawsuits against the school, an administrator and the Oregon State Board of Higher Education. The female plaintiffs claim that the administrator raped them during a trip to Atlanta to attend an education seminar last February.
The plaintiffs are seeking "non-economic and punitive" damages of almost $101 million and $107.5 million for the alleged actions, including sex harassment and discrimination, infliction of severe emotional distress, negligence and battery by Robert Davis, the school's director of undergraduate studies.
