THE lack of sperm donors in Northern Ireland will be one of the issues discussed at an information day for infertility sufferers next month in Antrim.
It was recently revealed that Northern Ireland couples seeking fertility treatment through sperm donation are being forced to go to Spain to find donors because of an acute shortage.
Part of the problem has been a change in legislation allowing the names of donors to be revealed. There are currently no donors in Northern Ireland.
