PRAGUE, Jan 1 (CTK) - A 26-year-old Belarussian, not a Bulgarian, as reported earlier, died in the centre of Prague in the early hours of New Year when he succumbed to stabs he suffered when two men attacked a group of foreigners, police spokeswoman Eva Miklikova told CTK today.
Another three victims of the assailants were injured. One of the suspected foreigners, a 21-year-old Moldovan, has already been accused of murder and an attempt to commit another two murders, the other will be accused of an attempted murder later today, Miklikova said.
The incident started at around 3:00 a.m. when the Moldovan and his 19-year-old acquaintance from Belarus met three Belarussians in the street.
The Moldovan allegedly used a knife against one them and killed him. The motif is not known yet.
The attacker, who was drunk, says he remembers nothing about the murder nor about the allegedly attempt to kill another two people.
