ADRA collects seven million crowns in aid of Asia through SMS.

PRAGUE, Jan 1 (CTK) - ADRA Foundation has collected more than seven million crowns through SMS messages in aid of the victims of the natural disaster in southeast Asia, its director Jan Barta told CTK today.
He said that the SMS messages have been sent by about 260,000 people.
Some NGOs have also launched public fund-raising campaigns.
People in Need collected more than 3.5 million crowns as form December 31.
A total of more than 14 million crowns have been collected as from December 31. Part of the money will be used to buy everyday essentials while a majority of the sum will be spent on reconstruction projects in the afflicted areas.
