Yala: Two people were shot dead yesterday in Muang and Than To districts as violence in the South continued unabated.

The first victim was Saha Salae, 56, an informant for the government. Saha was riding his motorcycle along Ban Bai-Kampong Bunae road in tambon Budi when two men started following.

The pillion rider opened fire at him. He was hit twice in the body and died instantly.

In Than To district, Sudin Sako, acting village chief of tambon Ban Rae in Than To district, was found dead near the village. …
