PRODUCERS keep complaining that we don't have enough good actors for them to cast in their projects, which is why they keep using the same performers, over and over again. Fact is, we do have more than our share of outstanding actors, but they're often overlooked or underutilized.
This is due to the fact that producers cast their projects according to star value, and some of our best actors are past their prime in terms of popularity.
