FROM Lynette Mallari: "I enjoyed your articles on Christmas. How about a feature on New Year's resolutions?"
Surprisingly, New Year's resolutions aren't very popular among celebrities, although some of them really stick to their resolves when they make them.
Mandy Moore, for example, has been busy with films and singing gigs, especially after her breakthrough performance in Adam Shankman's "A Walk to Remember" (2002).
But, she acknowledges the importance of learning. Her resolution is to pick up a book more often. Last year, she started keeping what she calls a "vocabulary workbook"-to keep her brain fine-tuned despite a heavy workload.
For her part, Cameron Diaz admitted to Premiere magazine that she has kept the same resolutions every year. She explains: "I always have the same ones: To stop smoking, to start wearing a bra, and to stop shopping." Unfortunately, she adds, she's able to keep her resolve for a mere one month every year!
