WHAT'S the best way to start the New Year? Well, you can wear polka-dotted clothes, eat round fruits to attract good vibes for prosperity, light firecrackers to drive away bad spirits, or make a list of resolutions that you'll hopefully keep for the rest of the year.
How about welcoming 2005 with a prayer? Here's what some of the movie industry's luminaries pray for:
Positive things
Aga Muhlach: "I pray that people will stop complaining about everything. Let's all be grateful for the blessings that we have received. I also pray na sana, magbalik ang tiwala ng mga manonood sa industriya, at magkaroon ng magagandang pelikula para hindi madala ang mga tumatangkilik nito."
Sen. Bong Revilla: "I pray for positive things to come our way. The country experienced a series of tragic events in 2004, and it was depressing. We should think positive. It's time we get our acts together. It's only in unity that we'll find progress. I also hope na makabangon ang movie industry."
