Aspiring candidates for the Kenya Football Federation elections have been warned of the dangers of misinterpreting sections of the new constitution.

The Kenya Football Referees Association general secretary G.M.T. Ottieno said the new constitution was clear that candidates could only contest for one post at one level - sub branch, branch and national. He drew attention to Article 32 (7) which states: Candidates shall only offer themselves for election either at the sub branch, branch or the national office.
