Tokyo, Dec. 30 (Jiji Press)--The dollar was firmer above 103.50 yen in Tokyo Thursday in line with the euro's jump to a record high against the Japanese currency in last foreign exchange trading here for 2004.

The dollar stood at 103.77-79 yen at 5 p.m., up from Wednesday's 103.20-23 yen, after ranging between 103.62 and 104.22 yen. It traded most heavily at 104.12 yen, against Wednesday's 103.35 yen.

The euro stood at 1.3623-3625 dollars in late Thursday trading, compared with 1.3628-3631 dollars late Wednesday. Against the Japanese currency, the euro stood at 141.37-41 yen, up from 140.67-71 yen. The European single currency hit yet …
