KARACHI Steadier trend was witnessed on the cotton market on Thursday as spot rate moved up modestly in subdued trading, dealers said. The official spot rate was higher by Rs 15 to Rs 1865 without upcountry expenses. The cotton from Punjab was available at Rs 1700-1950 and in Sindh it was available at Rs 1700-1925.According to the market sources, activity slackened these days as tug of war on the prices started between ginners and spinners.
