SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 29, 2004- Cisco Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:CSCO) and its employees are donating in excess of US$2.5 million for humanitarian relief and rebuilding efforts for those affected by the earthquake and tsunami that struck Asia and the east coast of Africa.

The donation is comprised of US$1 million contributed by the company, as well a minimum of US$1 million from the Cisco Foundation to match employee donations. Currently, Cisco employees and executives have donated over US$460,000, and the company expects this figure to reach US$1 million which will be …
