ISLAMABAD - The Asian Development Bank (ADB) Thursday approved a credit of $57 million for a multi-sector Rehabilitation and Improvement Project for Azad Jammu and Kashmir to support the Government of Pakistan in improving the living standards and economic prospects in the State.

The multi-sector project, ADB's first in the State, has been formulated on the basis of a package of urgent needs tackling health, education, water supply, roads and power to fill the investment gap created over the past years, says the ADB in a statement issued here.
