The number one party school, according to last year's Princeton Review, has added another test for first-year students new to campus. The University of Colorado at Boulder is making its 5,100 freshmen take a three-hour online alcohol awareness test to gauge their attitudes, habits and knowledge.
The school is mandating the test partially in response to the university's image. However, they are also concerned about student attitudes toward alcohol use. "The test gives us a baseline to know what we're dealing with," said Robert Maust, chair of the school's standing committee on substance abuse.
