Legislative Conference 2005: a dramatically different experience.
The Legislative Conference this year was dramatically different for several reasons. The most important consideration was the timing of the conference: in the past this conference has always been held in the late winter or early spring, and this year a conscious decision was made to convene the meeting in the fall. It was our hope that we might be able to provide the final push on legislative items of importance to our membership during the final days of the Congress by doing this.
