NO DOUBT for the non-religious consumers of media, the debate in the churches over homosexuality--constantly simmering and occasionally bubbling over--is pretty incomprehensible. People have diverse sources of pleasure, and there's a postmodern taboo against criticising what other people do for fun. Whatever turns you on, we used to say in the 1960s; now we say more shortly: whatever. Homo-sceptics ought to just "get over it" (a nauseating riposte which usually amounts to, "I'd rather not engage my brain, so would you please disengage yours").
