Vietnam and South Korea have had good performances in trade since they established their bilateral ties on December 22, 1992, said South Korean Ambassador to Vietnam Yoo Tae-hyun on the occasion of 12th anniversary of the two countries' relations.
The two-way trade turnover between Vietnam and South Korea was just $500 million in 1992, Yoo said. The figure had increased by six folds to $3.25 billion by 2003 and is expected to climb to $4 billion this year.
