Israeli inventors came away with five medals, including two gold medals, at the 56th IENA Nuremberg, the international exhibition of ideas, inventions and new products. IENA is the German Inventors Association.
IENA's jury of experts awarded a total of 61 gold medals, 87 silver medals and 77 bronze medals to veteran. Young inventors were judged separately, and received six gold medals, seven silver medals and 22 bronze medals.
The IENA 2004 Grand Prize went to Germany's Wilfried Brings for his bone cement injection with tin connector system.
