SAN FRANCISCO (CBS.MW) -- EBay said Saturday that an executive with its India subsidiary Baazee.com was arrested while assisting New Delhi police in an anti-pornography investigation.

The company's manager of Baazee.com, Avnish Bajaj, is held without bail until Dec. 24, eBay said. Saying it is outraged, eBay said Bajaj was voluntarily helping in the probe of a seller who advertised a pornographic video, which was not shown on the site.

San Jose, Calif.-based eBay said the ad in late November was removed from Baazee.com when it was discovered and had violated company policies and user agreements. With eBay assistance,…
