[Newsreader] Maverick lawmaker Leung Kwok-Hung has been barred from entering Macao, where he'd planned to deliver a referendum bill to President Hu Jintao tomorrow.

Mr Leung was immediately whisked into a room after travelling to the territory by ferry earlier this afternoon. Inspectors checked his identification documents, but refused to allow him to speak with immigration officials. He was then escorted into a boat which was returning to Hong Kong.
