Visitors pour into Ocean Park.

Two million people visited Ocean Park in the past five months, the most in such a period since it opened 27 years ago.

There were 1.6 million visitors during the same July-to-November period last year. The latest figures were announced as the park yesterday released results for the 2003-04 financial year, which boasted a surplus of $95.7 million, the second-highest on record.

Among the 2 million visitors, 60 per cent were from the mainland. It is expected the total number of visitors for 2004-05 will hit 4 million, one of the park's …
