DON'T say I didn't warn you. Two months ago in this column, I predicted rugby union's raids on Super League would be stepped up, with particular attention paid to young, athletic and physically powerful outside backs. At 6ft 5ins and 18 stone, Karl Pryce fits that bill perfectly. The Bradford centre or wing has agreed a three-year contract at Gloucester, following Bath recruit Chev Walker into union. It's a worrying development. Leeds centre Walker is 24 and Pryce is only 20. Both were part of Great Britain's plans for the Tri-Nations.
