WASHINGTON (AFX) - The Air Force on Tuesday awarded Lockheed Martin Corp. a contract worth nearly $590 million to serve as the systems integrator for the service's command and control centers.

Work on the four-year pact includes fielding, engineering, managing, and supporting the centers.
