Budapest, September 8, 2006 (MTI-ECONEWS) - Hungary's economy increased a calendar-year-adjusted 4.1pc in volume terms in the second quarter of 2006 from the same period a year earlier, the Central Statistics Office (KSH) announced on Friday. The figure is up from first estimate of 3.9pc reported on August 15,

Second-quarter unadjusted GDP growth was also revised up to 3.8pc yr/yr from a preliminary 3.6pc.

Second-quarter GDP was up 1.0pc from the first quarter according to seasonally-adjusted figures, up from a preliminary 0.9pc.
