Air traffic controllers say US airports face staff shortages.

Air traffic controllers have claimed that staff shortages amongst controllers are common at airports in the United States.

The air traffic controllers have reportedly said that the Federal Aviation Administration plans to cut costs force them to keep track of more aircraft and also force some controllers to simultaneously direct aircraft that are on the ground and monitor air traffic by radar.
