Small towns growth driver for eBay in India

Kolkata, Aug 31 (PTI) Small towns were the growth drivers for leading online market eBay India, a company official said here today.

"Small cities and towns what we commonly B and C category towns are gaining momentum about the online auction concept. The growth in these towns is double compared to metros and large towns," director, category management, Ambareesh Murthy said here today.

Currently, B and C category towns contribute about 20-30 per cent of the total turnover in India "and we hope that it will grow to 50 per cent over the next few…
