LLOYD'S List Bunker 60 has expanded its coverage to include low sulphur fuel prices at ports across Europe and the Mediterranean as well as extending its British ports coverage and adding a further member to its broker panel, writes Jamie Dale.
With the first sulphur emission control area introduced in the Baltic Sea region in May this year and the English Channel set to follow in 2007, cost and availability of low sulphur fuel is the latest challenge to shipowners already battling against surging bunker prices.
Bunker 60 has responded to the changing market by introducing low sulphur fuel prices for Rotterdam, Hamburg, St Petersburg, Gothenburg, Great Belt, Falmouth, Gibraltar and Lisbon.
