TASHKENT, Sept 1 Asia Pulse - Uzbekistan and Japan will continue dialogue on development of uranium fields in the Central Asian nation, an official of Japanese Foreign Ministry, accompanying Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi during his visit to Uzbekistan.
The official said on Tuesday that Uzbek President Islam Karimov and Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi discussed development of Uzbek uranium fields.
According to the Japanese official, Uzbek President Islam Karimov said during his talks with Japanese Prime Minister that Japanese firms can participate in development uranium fields in Uzbekistan.
