SYDNEY, Aug 31 Asia Pulse - The nation's credit data suggests that the appetite for debt remains strong despite the Reserve Bank of Australia's May interest rate hike.
Australian private sector credit recorded another solid gain in July, rising by 1.2 per cent following a downwardly revised 1.1 per cent rise in June.
Over the year to July total credit rose by 14.8 per cent.
