Qwest Communications International announced it has signed a $20 million agreement with the state of Minnesota to provide data networking technologies for the Office of Enterprise Technology (OET) for two years, with the option to renew.
OET provides enterprise information management direction and efficient delivery of utility IT services to Minnesota State Government and its customers. OET operates a wide area network (WAN) called Minnesota's Network for Enterprise Telecommunications (MNET), a secure intranet that supports voice, video and data for users across the state, including state agencies, public safety, educational and local government organizations.
