A team of medics who treat patients with brain and spinal tumours across the region can now stay in touch with each other, thanks to a generous donation by a freemasons group.
Members of the Neuro-oncology Team at Derriford Hospital were presented with a cheque towards the purchase of four Blackberry handheld devices by members of The Lodge of St. George No 383.
The team of medics, which consists of consultant neurosurgeon James Palmer, and neuro-oncology nurse specialists Tony Shute, Louise Davies and Jo Beer, can now stay connected with each other wherever they are in the region, thanks to the devices.
