Top picks.(Letter to the editor)
Your April report "Top Picks: The Best Models in 10 Categories" doesn't help our economy during this traumatic time for our U.S. car manufacturers. I'm not employed by an automaker; however, I live in Michigan and am affected by the sad state of the auto industry. Yes, changes need to be made in the auto industry and that is happening, but where's the support while they undergo the painful process? Certainly not by your report on the top 10 Japanese models. Many of us believe in giving back to our country and would never purchase anything other than an American-made car. So why not give your countrymen the top 10 U.S.-made autos?
