East Central Division.(Division News)(awards)(Brief article)
East Central Division states honored three members as MTNA Foundation Fellows this year: Joyce Grill, NCTM, Wisconsin; Frances Larimer, NCTM, Illinois; and Richard Morris, NCTM, Ohio.
The Illinois State MTA 2006 Conference will be November 3-4, at Milliken University. Conference clinician is Gayle Kowalchyk and conference artist is Jerome Lowenthal.
As of June 2006, Michigan MTA will be using e-mail to enhance delivery of its newsletter and other communications with the membership.
"Living a Legacy--Influencing Generations of Future Musicians" is the theme for the Ohio MTA 2006 conference at the Columbus Airport Marriott, November 9-11.
