22-year old violinist from Cleveland, Ohio, won first place in the 2006 Kingsville International String Competitions. Golden will receive a total of $9,250 and will perform with the Victoria, Texas, Symphony Orchestra during its 2006-2007 season. She is a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music and currently studies with Paul Kantor at the Cleveland Institute of Music.
