Jan. 27--BAILEYVILLE -- Bids for construction of two of the three proposed U.S. Border Patrol Stations are being reviewed by federal officials.
The Department of Homeland Security, formerly the Immigration and Naturalization Service, plans to construct the new stations in Baileyville, Jackman and Van Buren.
The cost of the project is more than $20 million, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' New England District said in its December Update Report for Maine.
