Nov. 6--While Monroe County had the lowest unemployment rate in the state for September, things may change by the end of the year.

Seasonal unemployment is about to kick in.

Monroe County's unemployment rate dropped from 2.9 percent in August to 2.5 percent in September, according to the latest labor force estimates from the Indiana Department of Workforce Development.
