Oct. 22--DURHAM, N.C. -- Trimeris Inc., Durham's most prominent home-grown biotechnology firm, is leaving the nest.

The drug development company has signed a 10-year lease for property in Morrisville and will take possession in January, according to documents filed with the Wake County Register of Deeds.
