Oct. 12--WATERLOO, Iowa -- If there's any disappointment from proponents of Cedar Valley TechWorks about the limited amount of state funds for the project, it didn't show on Monday.

TechWorks continues to receive praise from state and local officials, who remain optimistic that the project will grow well beyond its initial phase.

On Monday, Gov. Tom Vilsack and Department of Economic Development Director Mike Blouin were joined by local dignitaries at John Deere's Westfield site to announce a $3.2 million state assistance package for TechWorks.
