Jan. 30--SHAWNEE, Okla. -- Criminal charges soon will be filed against the former operators of a Shawnee insurance agency accused of bilking scores of older people out of more than $12 million dollars, a local prosecutor said Thursday.
For many of the swindled investors who attended an informational meeting here Thursday, the alleged scam's ringleader deserves a lengthy jail term.
