A theologian and a thespian, Jim Martin goes wherever the spirit moves him. A year ago, it swept him to the Glenridge at Palmer Ranch. The 85-year-old chaplain from San Diego hadn't set foot on a stage in nearly three decades. But just recently, he reignited that fire.
Upon his arrival at the Sarasota retirement community, Martin met George Loukides, founder of the Glenridge Players. Martin auditioned at one of Loukides' open calls and snagged the part of Willie Clark in "The Sunshine Boys."
