Celebrities are used to having their fashion choices dissected in the press, so itOs only fair to give them a chance to provide their own spin. At the Independent Spirit Awards, the Golden Globes, and the Screen Actors Guild Awards, they seized the opportunity to analyze their own looks.
Hip-hop artists were predictably cocksure, like Diddy, who said, OI got my sophisticated and sexy going on.O Ludacris noted that his purple suit was Othe color of kings.O
The women exuded confidence, too. OI feel sexy, feminine, and alive in this dress,O said Patricia Clarkson. Virginia Madsen and Katherine Heigl used the same showbiz phrase to describe their appearances: OVa-va-voom!O is how Madsen characterized her cleavage, while Heigl wanted to play it down. OStylists tend to make me more va-va-voom-y than I want,O she explained.
But for Angie Harmon, who gave birth to her second daughter last June and quickly bounced back into shape, her look was very simple: ONot pregnant.O
