Like the olive in a martini, shimmer is more than just a delicious afterthoughtNit can take a straight shot of ordinary makeup and turn it into a sexy cocktail. In fact, when you apply shimmer strategically to the face and dcolletage (as opposed to just smooshing it on all over), it can dramatically highlight your bone structure. OAccentuating your features with light gives the face an instant lift.O Almost any shimmering powder, cream, or liquid can be used to highlight and define the face (although the inverse isnOt trueNnot all highlighters are shimmery). Keep in mind, weOre not talking about glitter, which has bigger, flashier pieces than shimmerOs fine particles. So unless you like your makeup on the rocks, keep highlighter suggestive, rather than as blinding as a disco ball.
