A 40-year-old man has been re-arrested in connection with the death of a man whose badly-beaten body was found in a field.

The body of Roger Denslow, 40, was stumbled upon by a group of children as they played in a field at Taunton on June 30.

Mr Denslow, of Wheatley Crescent, Taunton, had been reported missing by concerned family members a week earlier.

Yesterday, Avon and Somerset Police re-arrested a 40-year-old man from Taunton in connection with the death.

He was last night still being questioned by officers.
