The organisers of a charity bike ride from Bristol to London are launching an emergency appeal for more than 2,000 bananas as a worldwide shortage of the fruit means the cyclists may go without.
The Action 100 annual bike ride takes place every year with hundreds of riders taking to the A4 on August Bank Holiday Sunday.
