(From Western Daily Press)
Akos Buzsaky has been hurried back into Plymouth Argyle's squad - despite not having tasted a minute of match action so far this season.
The Hungarian international midfielder had an operation during the summer to try to resolve a persistent groin injury, and did not feature in Saturday's Coca-Cola Championship stalemate against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Home Park or any of the Pilgrims' pre-season friendlies. However, he has impressed Argyle manager Ian Holloway in training and has been thrust into the squad for tonight's away game at Colchester United.
Holloway has had to dig deep into his playing resources because of an injury to veteran midfielder Lilian Nalis, who suffered ankle ligament damage in a collision with opposing goalkeeper Matt Murray during the 1-1 draw against Wolves. The Frenchman was absent when the Argyle squad flew to East Anglia yesterday morning, and is also unlikely to feature in next Saturday's away game at Sunderland.
"Lilian will probably be out for the next two games," Holloway added, "but, if anybody can play on with it, I'm told it's him, so don't rule him out of Saturday just yet." The loss of Nalis at Layer Road could mean a place for Buzsaky on the substitutes' bench and a first senior start for 18-year-old midfielder Luke Summerfield, but the Argyle boss has other options.
