Six women go out on a limb to reshape their lower halves with cardio,
body sculpting, and more. Here are the skirt-raising results. By Lauren Iannotti
6[currency]6B6[currency]6etty Grable, Angie Dickin-son, and Heidi Klum may have all had their legs insured for millions by Lloyd [macron]s of London, but most of the women we know aren [macron]t quite ready to take out policies of their own. In fact, according
to a recent allure.com poll, it [macron]s more likely that she considers her legs a liability *and one that can be itemized. When asked to choose the main flaw standing between them and leggy perfection, more than 30 percent of respondents said cellulite, 24 percent cited lack of tone, and 16 percent struggled with general bulkiness. So the real million-dollar question is: Can you reshape less-than-stellar legs into a great pair of gams? And if so, how?
We enlisted six women eager for some answers. They spent eight weeks running, jumping rope, and lunging with the instruction of the country [macron]s foremost fitness and body-sculpting experts. One woman exchanged the regular cardio routine she [macron]d come to know and loathe for intense weight lifting. Another struggled to stick to her low-carb diet and circuit routine while traveling abroad. While many dropped pounds and inches, perhaps the biggest transformation could be found in their attitudes about their lower halves: All realized that the sum is more important than the parts *and you can [macron]t put a price on that.
