Two illegal immigrants involved in a sophisticated plot to steal bank and credit card details from cash machines have been jailed.

The pair were caught after sharp-eyed Moira Lord, who works at Tesco Express in Melton, noticed a mysterious new fascia on a cash machine outside the store and alerted the police.

A micro camera had also been placed over the keypad area, to film customers' identification numbers.

Alexandru Gabriel Matalica (20) and Nicusar Serban (21) were caught after being seen acting suspiciously at the scene.
