Internet giant Google has chosen Michigan for their newest expansion project.
The announcement of the location was made by President and CEO of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) James Epolito and Governor Jennifer Granholm on July 11.
For over a year, the MEDC has worked with Google to win the location for Michigan. The company finally agreed when the MEDC approved a High-Tech Single Business Tax Credit totaling approximately $38 million, which is said to span over 20 years.
