] HIGHWAYS AGENCY SE149-06 1 August 2006 Safety improvements for A2 Bridge near Canterbury

Strengthening work on the bridge carrying the B2050 over the A2 near Canterbury, Kent will begin on Saturday, 5 August and is due to finish on Sunday, 27 August.

The Highways Agency will be installing new safety barriers, which help to strengthen the bridge. Existing barriers, will be renewed to protect the bridge from impact by vehicles.

For the safety of the workforce and road users, traffic will be will reduced from two lane to single lane on the A2 slip road to the bridge. A 50 …
