SEOUL, Aug 1 Asia Pulse - South Korea's overseas construction orders surpassed the US$10 billion mark in the first seven months of the year, reaching the level in record time, a government report showed Tuesday.
The country's builders clinched a total of 182 orders worth .45 billion during the January-July period, according to the report by the Ministry of Construction and Transportation.
The figure is a 67.6 per cent increase compared to the same period of last year, breaking the previous record of nine months to reach that level in 1982.
